    Description

    CDV- Benjamin B. Edmunds- 36th & 54th Mass Infantries.
    Edmunds was discharged from the 36th Mass in August of 1864 to 2nd Lt. in Colonel Robert Shaw's Black 54th Mass infantry.  He enlisted in the 36th as a private in August of 1862.  He was wounded at Campbell's Station, Ky while in battle against confederate forces under General Longstreet.
