Sterling Silver Loving Cup/Chalice
Antique
A very unusual English loving cup or chalice
made in Chester, 1902, by George Nathan and Ridley Hayes.
It is Brutalist and Architectural with bolted and openwork accents.
Applied birds decorate the sides of the handles.
Fully Hallmarked - retailed by Roger of Guernsey
The cup is
modelled after a Mycenaen archaeological find
dubbed "the cup of Nestor" a Homeric King
