EXQUISITE VINTAGE one of a kind signed Carol Miljus hand-painted Elephant Doll in a beautiful handsewn black floral & corduroy dress with complementary bloomers, originally made in 1993.
This is a one of kind signed Carol Miljus handmade Elephant Doll in exquisite hand made dress. It is made of muslin, painted with five layers to give it a uniquely antique cracked leather appearance.
Carol Miljus is a doll-maker & artist who started making art festival appearances in 1992. She creates all her dolls in her home workshop in Pennsylvania and each doll takes about a week to complete. Originally, these dolls sold for between and 5 a piece, if you’re lucky enough to find one.
Extremely rare with only a couple being sold around the US.
